2012 is all about the Cloud! |
The tragic passing of Steve Jobs re-ignited the debate about the true genius of the great man and his potential for deification in the technology hall of fame. Was he the genius inventor of products of a generation, or merely just a great businessman who turned good ideas into game changing business success? The debate will live longer than many [...]

It’s not rocket science |
Following on from my post on ‘It’s not how clever you are..it’s how unclever you are’ ,here is a simple chart from Marketing Sherpa that really demonstrates that at least with email, it can be as simple as giving Relevant Content.

When to email? The million dollar question |
There are a lot of ‘groundhog day’ questions within the email world, none more so than “when’s best to send an email?” – day and time. There are of course a number of opinions and suggestions, mainly depending on whether your audience is B2B or B2C. For example, for a B2B audience, apparently Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays are the prime [...]

When selecting an ESP is the most important question really, how much does it cost? |
Anyone who knows me will tell you that I’m notoriously ‘thrifty’. I see myself as abstemious with my finances, most everyone else thinks I’m tight. It must be my Scottish ancestry. My underlying logic is; if I’m buying a packet of cereal, for example, then why pay twice as much for Kelloggs as for the ‘own brand’…it’s probably the same [...]
