Since our foundation in 1999, eCircle has become one of the largest and most sophisticated suppliers of digital direct marketing in Europe.  With over 75 years combined experience in online marketing and consulting, our Executive Board comprises of innovative entrepreneurs each possessing a wide-ranging expertise, a profound understanding and a tireless enthusiasm of the digital marketing industry. 

Lothar Lanz, Co-Chairman of the Executive Board

Lothar Lanz works alongside the members of the Executive Board to ensure the future growth strategy of eCircle. Before joining eCircle, Lothar Lanz was CFO of the ProsiebenSat 1 Group (one of the largest TV companies in Germany) and has held positions as a member of the Management Board, at both the Nassauische Bank, Wiesbaden, Germany and at the HSB HYPO Service Bank, Munich, Germany.

Volker Wiewer, Co-Chairman of the Executive Board

As Co-Chairman, Volker Wiewer is responsible for Sales and Marketing across Europe for eCircle. Back in 1999, Volker co-founded eCircle with Thomas Wilke. Prior to this, he worked for Roland Berger & Partner International Management Consultants, where he acted as a consultant to companies developing and realising e-commerce strategies from 1997 onwards. Volker is the author of several articles about email and multi-channel marketing as well as one of the leading speakers at industry trade fairs across Europe.

Alexander Meyer, CFO, Member of the Executive Board & Managing Director of eCircle UK

Aeronautical Engineering and Space Technology graduate Alexander Meyer is the Chief Finance Officer and a member of the Executive Board at eCircle. Prior to working at eCircle Alexander worked for McKinsey and Company as a management consultant before moving on to Wellington Partners Venture Capital, financing and supervising companies from the IT and communications industries. In 2002, Alexander joined eCircle where he is responsible for all financial activities across all eCircle’s European offices as well as being UK Managing Director.

Thomas Wilke, COO / CTO, Member of the Executive Board

Thomas Wilke, an Industrial Engineering graduate, is responsible for Product Development and Operations and is a member of the Executive Board at eCircle. Before founding eCircle in 1999 alongside Volker Wiewer, he was in charge of e-commerce projects at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. An expert in complex e-commerce applications and messaging systems, Thomas supervises the set-up and strategic advancement of eCircle’s technology and media product range.

Lars Wössner, Member of the Executive Board & Managing Director of eCircle Italy

Lars Wössner is Managing Director of eCircle Italy. Before joining eCircle, he worked for Roland Berger Strategy Consultants advising leading companies in Italy, Germany and France on media and consumer goods. In 2000, Lars joined eCircle as Business Development Manager and in 2001, he was appointed to the Executive Board. In his current role, he is responsible for all business activities of eCircle Italy.
